Digital Pets is available exclusively on the Mac App Store. Install it there and use the App Store for future updates. The store listing shows compatibility requirements for your Mac.

No. Your pet can live in a desktop terrarium above the Dock. On supported Macs, the app also offers a Touch Bar surface.

Open Digital Pets Studio and check that the Terrarium switch is on. You can also show the terrarium from the app’s menu bar icon. Settings → Display includes Reset above Dock if you need to bring its home back into view.

Open My Pet in Studio to see their health, hunger, energy, happiness, and bond. Buy food in the Shop, feed snacks from your pantry, play with toys, and spend a little time petting them. The info button beside each stat explains how it works.

Choose Garden, City, or Snow in the Walk tab, then start your adventure. Hold the trail in the terrarium to move and release to pause. Watch for presents and other discoveries along the way.
